Do you value bespoke quality goods and believe that every little detail matters?
Are you longing for a streamlined elevated look that fully encompasses your distinctive story and varying ideas?
Do you believe that branding and paper are the first touchpoints that sets the tone for your entire event?
I was in your shoes back in 2011. A busy go-getter in the city, working 60+ hour work weeks in a face paced industry, dreaming of planning an impeccably designed truly unique wedding filled with meaningful details.
I spent hours searching for vendors that truly understood my aesthetic and I longed for someone that could take my vision and run with it.
This experience led to my farewell to the fashion industry and sparked my journey to helping couples like you.
I’m Erin Braun (pronounced “brown” like the color). I grew up in the Midwest; raised on ballet, horses, Montessori, and Saturday morning brunch. I got bit by the art bug as soon as I could hold a crayon. A visionary and an artist through and through, I have always been the “ideas person”. My imagination never stops, my wheels are always spinning, and I keep a sketchbook close by to get my ideas down on thick cotton paper. I believe that I was given my gifts for a reason, I love anything that I can meticulously create with my hands, and I am in constant pursuit of how to make my corner of the world a more beautiful place.
I am a Type A right brained creative; INFJ to be exact. You can usually find me with a paint brush in one hand and a color-coded checklist in the other. Curious by nature, I explored just about every creative medium during my art education. I spent many college and grad school days oil painting my heart out until 2am, welding in the metalworks studio, or pulling all nighters sewing garments with couture techniques (thus my love of coffee was born).
I worked professionally as a fashion designer for several leading brands, sourcing fabrics from around the globe and hand beading garments that graced the runways. My transition from luxury fashion to high-end events was natural and I have been producing custom stationery since 2012.
After a decade in New York City, I now base my studio and team in Ann Arbor, Michigan with my husband Brett, son Hudson, and daughter Marlowe. However, you can still catch me daydreaming of the city bustle and I often have a serious case of wanderlust. Let’s just say my passport is ready should your elaborate signage and epic installation dreams call for it.
All of our client work is truly custom. There are no set collections, cookie-cutter ideas, or limited color options to choose from. We start from scratch for each client. We will guide you through selecting the best printing methods and ideal papers to showcase your designs and fit your budget. We love sourcing the perfect materials to serve as the canvas for your project, and if the perfect element doesn’t exist - we will custom make it.
We pride ourselves on developing original artwork for our clients. Each and every illustration or painting will be hand drawn specifically for you. With extensive fine art training and experience, I work with a variety of mediums and materials to originate your pieces. Pen and ink, acrylic, charcoal, watercolor, graphite, paper carving, fabric, leather, embroidery, pressed florals, and velvet are a few methods that I love to work with.
From wedding planning, full-service event design, floral design, and of course stationery, I have 14 years of experience in many aspects of the event industry. I have a deep understanding of what goes into executing a wedding day. Wedding planning is stressful, but your stationery experience doesn’t have to be. From answering etiquette questions, taking your invitations to the post office, and alphabetizing escort cards before delivery, we guide our couples through a seamless process.
"Hiring Erin was the best decision that we made during the planning process. Erin is an incredibly talented artist and designer. She took such an interest in learning about our backgrounds and cultures. After hearing about our overall vision for the day, she came up with detailed color/inspiration boards and later a thorough design proposal. Erin was able to create a cohesive theme, incorporating elements from both cultures, which was present throughout our wedding day."
“I cannot write a sufficiently glowing review to accurately reflect Erin's extraordinary work. She went above and beyond to help us create, design and print the most gorgeous wedding invitations. From start to finish, she understood our style, she had brilliant and creative ideas, her design work was perfect, and the final product was absolutely gorgeous. Plus, she was an absolute joy to work with -- responsive, helpful, understanding. I cannot recommend her highly enough!”
“Erin is insanely talented at everything she does. Her vision, communication and final end product is worth every single penny. I highly recommend all her services. My husband and I are so grateful for her hard work and the designs she did for our special day. Our invitations were gorgeous. We still are getting compliments to this day!”
